I almost sort of forgot
and oh yeah, the last day of high school for the class of 2009 was yesterday.
So was our last Track banquet, our last WMS JMUN celebration, our last time going to the same school, our last time waking up for a block of classes to begin at 7:25 AM, our last time seeing Big Black/Richard/Mr. Jimenez/Mr. Engle/Mr. King/administration at SRHS, our last time walking to/from our high school classes, our last time setting foot at SRHS as students, and our last day of “childhood, before entering college, which can be interpreted by many as our first foray into the “real world”; and I agree with that, because for the first time in our lives (unless you’ve had a job, which isn’t quite the same), we’ll be immersed into a community of strangers, left completely to our own devices. “Bon voyage,” is all I can say. And that I know I’ll miss the time which I’ve wasted over the years. But look lively and look ahead!
